Please allow us to introduce ourselves; we are the “Friends of Father Murphy”, a non-profit charity that provides scholarships to deserving young men attending Bishop Mora Salesian High School, a Catholic-Christian high school located in East Los Angeles.

The “Friends of Father Murphy” are a group of Salesian High School Alumni who were each touched by the goodness of a former principal of the school, Fr. Ralph J. Murphy. Though he is no longer with us, the legacy he left us with was to “Give Back” to the community, and the Students who attend Salesian High School. You see Salesian High School, while located in one of the poorest parts of Los Angeles is a standout College Preparatory School. Literally, every student not only graduates from high school, but also goes onto college, or the university level. This could not happen without outside support.

The “Friends of Father Murphy” provides scholarships to deserving students to assist them with their annual expenses. Without this assistance, these deserving students would simply not be able to attend Salesian High School. Our vision is to establish a School of Arts & Music Department for our students and community.

The “Friends of Father Murphy” are asking for your support with a contribution and or donation to keep this worthy effort alive.
As a business, what better way to nurture future employees and customers than to make an investment early in the careers of these young men. We welcome you to mentor them and help them to decide on future goals and aspirations.

Please consider the “Friends of Father Murphy” this year as you decide on your charitable contributions. We encourage you to visit our website at, www.FriendsofFatherMurphy.com or better yet give any of our members a call. We would enjoy giving you more information on this worthy cause. Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Friends of Father Murphy, Inc.
